Chabal Farniente

Farniente Chabal is a silly animation of Sebastien Chabal trying to score a try with a watermelon instead of a rugby ball. Perfect for some juice and chill by the pool this summer.

I paid meticulous attention to the character design, ensuring Chabal’s appearance was engaging and harmonious with the animation’s humor and style.

Additionally, one highlight is the smooth transition where Chabal appears to leap from behind a wall while maintaining his body’s orientation, showcasing the importance of transitions in motion graphics.

I also experimented with transitioning from Inverse Kinematics (IK) to Forward Kinematics (FK) techniques, essential in character rigging and movement.
